Triangle Skies

This was a project I was hoping to do for quite a while, I just needed the right weather. All the photos are from the Orleans neighbourhood, the last one being Petrie Island.
To make these, I started in photoshop and selected the sky using the magic wand and quick select tools. After turning the selection into a path and copying it to Illustrator, I drew the triangles in for the sky. I sampled the colour of the sky from behind the triangle with the live paint tool (alt) and then filled the triangle. After the triangles were all filled, I masked the live paint group with the sky border path. Illustrator, Gr 11.
